On July 25, Yu Song, general manager of Xiangyu Biotechnology (Yueyang) Co., Ltd. led a team to visit Hubei University.
Xie Yuping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Life Sciences of Hubei University, Doctor, second-level professor, Professor Chen Shouwen and other doctoral supervisors received the investigation team. The School of Life Sciences of Hubei University consists of the Departments of Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Bioinformatics and Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, as well as the State Key Laboratory of biocatalysis and Enzyme Engineering. Professor Chen Shouwen's main research fields are biochemistry and agricultural microbial preparations, and his "Establishment and industrial application of high-efficiency Bacillus licheniformis cell factory platform" won the first prize of Hubei Province Technical Invention.
